Dr. Mortimer is a physician fully trained in the medical specialty of general psychiatry, and he has completed an additional two-year fellowship in the medical subspecialty of child & adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Mortimer is a diplomate of- and certified as a specialist by - the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has been on the volunteer teaching faculties of Oregon Health Sciences University Department of Psychiatry, and Eastmoreland Osteopathic Hospital Department of Family Practice. Clinically, Dr. Mortimer diagnoses and treats disorders of feeling, thinking and behavior in children, teens, and adults. He can provide medical psychotherapy and medical hypnotherapy, order diagnostic and laboratory tests, and prescribe and monitor medications. Dr. Mortimer has provided psychiatric consultation to physician colleagues in other medical specialties, psychologists, researchers, schools, chemical dependence treatment programs, hospitals, prisons, and state/ national psychiatric organizations. |



Dale B. Mortimer, MD, PC is a physician, psychiatrist, and child and adolescent psychiatrist in private practice in both general as well as child and adolescent psychiatry. His educational background includes a B.A. in Liberal Arts from St. John's College, Annapolis, Maryland (the 'Great Books' school) and a medical degree ('M.D.') from Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine.
